SaWa was contracted by EBRD in 2016 to prepare a comprehensive Feasibility Study (FS) to assess and review the existent documentation and confirm that an appropriate technical solution has been proposed as most effective least cost investment programme. The overall objective of the assignment was to prepare a decision basis for the municipality and the bank to appraise the project and take a decision on the prospective financing. The main components included: Baseline study, Technical assessment, Long term investment strategy, Priority investment programme, financial model and analysis, Environmental / social assessment, Resource efficiency assessment. It is pleasant to know that the project is under construction and will provide more than 3.000 households with fresh and harmless drinking water at the end of 2017.
